Description

Geography is Fun!

Travel God’s World Geography by Meredith Curtis, a unit study/consumable worktext, will take you on an adventure around the world!

Grab your passports and boarding passes and we’re off to exciting adventures on mountain tops, in rain forests, and across fertile plains. We will meet all kinds of world travelers, too, from missionaries to explorers. Each month students will focus on a biome and a continent, as well as meet missionaries and research a country of choice.

Research is fun! We will choose one country from each major continent to examine her landforms, climate, flora, fauna, resources, economy, government, religion, and culture; and present a report to our family or co-op class.

Maps are fun! We fill in blank outline maps of each continent, as well as a variety of thematic maps. We will learn about God’s world with population, language, religion, climate, and time zone maps.

Living books make place come alive! We will read several living books this year.
