Underneath the St. Patrick’s Day symbols of shamrocks and leprechauns is the true story of a man called by God to share the Gospel with the wild Irish–those same folks who captured him and sold him into slavery. He loved Jesus and the people of Ireland with a zeal seldom seen. This brother in the Lord is worth remembering and celebrating.
Here are some ways to make Saint Patrick’s Day meaningful and fun!
Picture Books
We always start with picture books. This is my favorite picture book about St. Patrick from Voice of the Martyrs. The beautiful story of Patrick’s life is told charmingly with delightful illustrations accompanying.
