My friends over at Captivating Compass have an exciting resource, an outstanding themed study of an amazing British author and the time he lived in. I love the Victorian era and I love Dickens works so I couldn’t wait to dig in. I was not disappointed!

First of all, I love the quality workmanship of the game. The boards, maps, and cards were sturdy, as well as bright and cheery! The gameboard itself is a world map.
When I was teaching my own children to read, I was constantly looking for little series to take them from knowing “how to read” to being fluent, happy readers. I wish I had these readers back in the day, but I’m glad they’re here for my grandchildren.
Another thing I loved is the way everything is tied back to martyrs of today who are living in places where loving Jesus with all your heart could mean death!
