A lazy day of couch potato homeschooling turned into a beneficial learning experience that we have repeated many times.

We took a few hours to watch a TV show from every decade in the 20th Century starting in the 1940s.

After we watched the shows we discussed the different decades and the differences between each decade.

We looked at HIS Story of the 20th Century to choose movies that would dovetail nicely with the material covered in each decade.

Explore the 20th Century with HIS Story of the 20th Century series! Living-Book-Style Textbook! Workbooks offer history labs, sports, maps, timelines, games, art, design, creativity, writing, and more! Don’t forget the cookbook! Learn more HERE!
